BEST STUDENT PAPER AWARD |

| Starting 2008, the VLSI-DAT symposium will present
the first Best Student Paper Award to one paper that is best-written
and presented by a full-time student. The paper will be evaluated
by technical committee members both on students' written papers
as well as their oral presentations during the conference. The
selected Best Student Paper Award will be granted in the next
conference. Accepted paper students will receive a letter from
the secretariat after the notification of acceptance and must
reply to indicate that they would like to be considered for
this award. |

Best Presentation Award |
| |
Starting 2006, the VLSI-DAT Symposium nominated
the Best Presentation Award to one of the papers that is most well-organized
and presented. An Audience survey is conducted during each session.
The presentation is to be evaluated by the following criteria : Technical
Content, Slide Quality, Presentation and Q&A Handling. The selected
Best Presentation Award will be granted in the next conference. Authors
must indicate with their submission that they would like to be considered
for this award. |
